What we collect
- Competitors: name, email address, a password stored as a secure hash, and vehicle information (year, make, model, color) that you enter when registering for an event.
- Staff (admins and judges): name, email address, and a password (stored as a secure hash).
- Payments: event deposit amount, payment status, Stripe transaction references and your personal registration PIN. Card details are entered on Stripe Checkout and are not stored by this application.
- Scores: the judging scores and notes recorded for your vehicle at an event.
- Technical: IP addresses are used for login and registration rate limiting. Our hosting service also maintains access and error logs for security and operation of the service; requests can include the requested page, time, browser or app information, and response status.
How we use it
- To register you for a competition event and identify your vehicle.
- To score your vehicle and email you your official scorecard and scoresheet after the show.
- To run the live event scoreboard for event staff.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
- We do not run ads or embed advertising trackers in the Florida Sound Quality application. Payment and font providers process information as described in their policies below.
- The app does not request access to your device location, contacts, camera or photo library. Technical request and payment-security data are described above and below.
Cookies
We use an essential session cookie (FSQSESSID) to keep account holders logged in, with a lifetime of up to 30 days. If you dismiss the app download banner, a preference is stored on your device for seven days. Our own application does not set advertising cookies. Stripe Checkout may use its own cookies and similar technologies for payment processing and fraud prevention; see Stripe’s privacy and cookie information.
Service providers
Emails (your scorecard and results) are sent through our email provider from [email protected]. Our application and database are hosted on a private server. Stripe processes online deposits. We send Stripe the deposit amount, event description, account email and internal reservation references needed to process and reconcile the payment. Stripe also processes card and billing information entered at checkout and technical information such as IP addresses and browser or device information for payment security. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser or app connects to Google to request those fonts, which sends technical request information such as your IP address, browser information and the referring page. See Google Fonts privacy information.
Data retention and your rights
Competition results and payment references are kept as part of event and transaction history. You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To request deletion of a competitor account, use the account deletion page after signing in, or email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
